Def not worth the money AND the wait! I waited an hour and a half for the ping house special pan fried noodles that tasted more like chow mein and hot and sour soup that was warm. $20 with tip + poor delivery time = never again!

The only reason that I gave it 2 stars was not to be a total bitch. I ordered delivery and it took forever. When the food arrived, they did not include the soy or duck sauce packets...WTF??? And the food REALLY needed it too. The fried rice was almost white color and no flavor, the beef lo mein was ok, but the sesame chicken was drowning in some sauce that was gross looking and it tasted like frozen food that was barely cooked long enough. The fried wontons were stale and well, is it necessary to go on??? I dont know what happened, I used to order from here years ago and it was NOT like this. Ps..fire the chef or you will lose customers!!! The frozem pf chang dinners taste better, and arent as overpriced as ping house's frozen nasty food.

The Ping House looks like it's been around since the cocaine wars of the 80's. I remember as a child I would see the building whenever we would drive by it on 36 St. and snicker at it's name. Now that I'm a resident of Miami Springs, I find myself ordering food from there once in a while, and you know what, it's really not that bad. Granted, I've never set foot in the place just cause the parking lot looks like a venue for a good rape, but luckily they deliver. I ordered the General Tsao's Chicken with an Egg Drop soup and was happy to taste that the food was still hot and full of flavor. My friend ordered the miso soup and was pleased with it as well. It's no P.F. Changs or Ruby Foos, but if you are looking for some tasty Chinese food that doesn't look like cat food and will leave you full, give the Ping House a chance if you are in the area. And if you ever step inside, let me know what it looks like!

You walk in this place you don't think too much of it, kind of dingy and no flavor. Typical American Chinese menu with reasonable price, we got few of your standards. Found the shrimp lo-mein and the fried chicken wings to be quite good. Only complaint was it took awhile waiting for the food.

Definitely hidden spot in the Miami springs area. I drive by this place fairy often but never noticed it because it doesn't really stand out. What does stand out, however, is the amazing food. The fried rice, honey garlic chicken and bbq ribs were on point. The food is always made to order, so it's always hot and fresh. Though the service can use some work, the prices are very reasonable and more than makes up for any shortcomings. 5/5 stars

For me, I have to rate the place a 1 star because of the service.... it's HORRIBLE!!! Most of the girls all have an attitude, they don't smile and they are completely rude. Not to mention when you order a lunch special that comes with a soup and then there is no soup inside the bag. When I realized there was no soup I asked where it was and the girl's remark was a roll of the eyes, a big sigh and a comment of "like your going to eat it anyways".... regardless of weather I eat it or not, it's included in what I'm paying!!!! The food is delicious and always fresh, I haven't had a problem with their food. Service just completely sucks!

The Ping House is probably Miami Springs' best kept secret. It's a hidden gem that you can easily miss if you're not looking for it, even though it's on a busy main street. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Though the service can be a bit slow at times, the food more than makes up for it. It's definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

No sweet and sour on the sweet and sour chicken. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and just received a "nugget like" chicken with no sweet and sour sauce on it. Sad. I'm a sad camper now.

First time to be in Miami. We were going to eat at a pizza and sub place around the corner from the hotel and after walking a 1/2 mile to the place they were closed. The next closest place to the restaurant was this place. It was very good. Had the orange chicken and generals chicken. We enjoyed it. Would go back if I was in the area.

Stopped in for a quick lunch with a friend. The "lunch specials" weren't that special. The taste for my wonton soup was great, the sweet & sour chicken was a little over cooked , but the sauce was good. My friend got the sesame chicken, chicken portion was small, but plenty of fried rice. It's ok, in a pinch, but not my first choice.

Its Chinese Food. I've had better, the service is a bit lacking. Good enough to come back. The Special Lo Mein, when cooked fresh is a highlight.

The usual fare for a Chinese restaurant. My family likes to get the honey garlic chicken- with fried rice. Turn around is pretty quick so get ready to pick your orders up! Oh and parking is behind shop

So I ordered take out chicken with broccoli. Came with a soup and egg roll. I asked for chop stix because that's how I roll :) .. I got back to my room and found no spoon for the soup. I'm good with chop stix, but not with soup...... Anyway the food was blah and the egg roll was a grease fest!! Not again.. IHOP is a block away..

This is what you call a hidden gem. You pass by it everyday but never pay any mind to it because it doesn't stand out. I must say that the food is outstanding and well priced. Carryout and delivery have been great for us without a hitch.

I was staying at the hotel next door. Called and ordered: 1 small steamed rice and a side of steamed brocolli. They said 10minutes. i showed up and waited another 30minutes What i received: $10 for white rice and mushy overcooked brocolli. bad food, service, and price. AVOID

Below average. Food was not very good and the manager couldn't be bothered to help the busy waitress. Egg drop soup was ramen noodle broth with some kind of dumpling. Stay away from here. Won't be back.

When it comes to chinese food, whether it is authentic chinese or american-chinese I am very selective since my father is a chef. With the many mediocre "American-Chinese food" restaurants in Miami, it is easy to over look a really good one. Ping House offers very fresh food selections, and their flavors surpass other chinese restaurants. Many of their entrees, ie Szechuan, Mongolian, Orange, General Tso's, are very rich in flavor. In my opinion, some dishes have a zest unlike others. My particular favorites are: Shrimp and Lobster sauce, General Tso's Chicken and their egg rolls (which are homemade and wrapped). Plus, their special fried rice is very plentiful in ingredients. In the world of American-Chinese food, I would recommend this restaurant because its food is outstanding. Give this place a try !!! They've been remodeling the interior and it looks great. P.S. They deliver locally and cater to large parties, esp to the MIA airport.

I was staying in a hotel near Miami airport, and the Ping House showed up on a list of nearby restaurants. I couldn't reach them by phone, but I ended up walking over and they were open. The food was great! I had hot and sour soup and steamed chicken with broccoli. The ingredients were fresh and the preparation was very good. Service was friendly and my order was ready fast. If you are in the area, I recommend the Ping House.

Pleasant experience. The exterior looks run down and old, but inside is great food, and a clean restaurant. The general Tsao's chicken is very good, I also recommend they vegetable chop suey. The veggies were crispy and had good flavor. Cashew chicken was fantastic too. Great location right next to Miami airport!

Let me begin by saying, I really like Chinese food. Having driven by this spot a couple of times, I finally decided to stop in for lunch on Saturday 03/10/12. I had the Pepper Steak, pork fried rice, egg roll and egg drop soup. The pepper steak and fried rice were OK, but not the best that I've ever had. How can you go wrong with an egg roll and egg drop soup? I would go again if I were in the area. But to make a special trip there, no.......

They delivered fast, right to our room in Miami Springs. The food was cooked to order, fresh but the taste was horrible. The only thing I can say the egg rolls are HUGE!! Very pricey.

The food is a slightly pricier than the one by VG, but the quality is better. I didn't finish all my fried rice and lo mein so I saved it for later. Then I came home drunk at 3am and ate the **** out of it....so it makes great drunk food also, but then again, isn't everything good when drunk.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
